在 Ice Cream Sandwich 發表的時候，Google 就 很爽快的說 Nexus S 將可以升級 ICS，但對於 Nexus One 能不能再老當益壯一下，卻不給正面的回應。如今答案揭曉 -- Android 4.0 的向後支援僅到 Nexus S 為止，倒不是說 Google 已經對 Nexus One 無愛，而是 Nexus One 老舊的硬體實在是跑不太動 ICS，如同 這裡示範的一樣。當然，靠著開發者神人們，N1 上想必終究會可以刷上 ICS（或許可以等 CyanogenMod？），只是恐怕就沒有近一代的新機器跑得那麼順就是囉。
